Our chapter prides itself on the support of Pirate athletics in an important era in East Carolina's history. Each of us are instrumental in the advancement of our facilities, team moral, and our national reputation in this changing landscape of college athletics. With over 400 pirate club members in the Cape Fear area we can all do our part to shatter the goal of 256 new members if we can each sign up just one new member this year. The Power of One!
Collegiate athletics is about teamwork. But what makes teamwork actually achieve results? It eventually comes down to the heroic effort of the Individual.
At any given moment, during any given contest, the focus is on one single person. In that one moment, that one player has the potential to move the team forward or to set the team back. And for that moment, all the power is concentrated in that one person. Will he or she deliver the good?
Pirate fans, this is your moment!
